About the role We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Bar Staff to join our team at Robbie's Sports Bar. This is a casual position based in Riccarton, Rolleston or Lichfield Courtyard, CBD , offering flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Bar Staff member, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer service whilst maintaining the smooth operation of our bar. You will work in a fast-paced, social environment where your contributions directly impact our guests' experience and our bar's success. Key responsibilities Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair Taking customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring satisfaction with every transaction Maintaining a clean, organised and safe bar environment at all times Operating the point-of-sale system and processing payments efficiently Restocking bar supplies, glassware and equipment as needed throughout shifts Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere Adhering to responsible service of alcohol obligations and house policies Supporting colleagues to ensure smooth service during busy periods What we're looking for Previous experience working in a bar, or hospitality setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Reliable and punctual with a flexible attitude towards casual shift work Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills What we offer We offer a competitive casual hourly rate with the flexibility to fit work around your other commitments.
