Heavy Diesel Parts & Services (HDPS) is a proudly Canterbury-owned business, established in 1997. With branches in Christchurch, Timaru and Westport, we provide specialist heavy diesel parts, servicing and repairs across the wider Canterbury region and as far as the top of the South Island. We are proud to be dealers for Kenworth and DAF trucks, a full-service dealer for Cummins engines, and to support a wide range of road transport and off-road equipment. About the Role We are looking for a Parts & Administrator to join our Westport team. This is a varied role that will play an important part in supporting our new FENZ contract, while continuing to provide exceptional service to our existing valued customers. You’ll work closely with our workshop technicians, customers and wider HDPS team to keep jobs moving, parts organised and customers informed. Key Responsibilities Liaising with customers regarding workshop bookings and providing regular updates on work in progress Supporting the day-to-day requirements of our FENZ contract Ordering and coordinating parts for workshop jobs Assisting technicians and customers with parts enquiries Preparing quotes and processing customer orders Managing stock control and general parts administration Processing invoices and completing general administration Building and maintaining strong customer relationships Working closely with the workshop and wider HDPS team to deliver the best possible customer experience About You We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and customer-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy workshop environment. Experience in parts, administration, automotive/heavy diesel or a similar industry would be an advantage, but we’re also interested in hearing from people with the right attitude and transferable skills. A Class 4 licence would be beneficial but is not essential. Why HDPS?
