You will take ownership of hydraulic system performance by improving preventative maintenance strategies, supporting shutdown planning, investigating recurring failures, and ensuring hydraulic documentation and asset information accurately reflects what is installed on site. You'll also work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to optimise spare parts, improve fault diagnosis, and introduce smarter monitoring practices that reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability. Your responsibilities will include: Providing advanced hydraulic fault-finding and technical support Reviewing and improving preventative maintenance programmes Auditing hydraulic systems, schematics and plant documentation Improving SAP asset records, Bills of Materials and spare parts accuracy Identifying opportunities to improve hydraulic system reliability Supporting root cause investigations and implementing permanent corrective actions Working alongside engineering teams to improve plant performance and maintenance standards About You You'll have extensive experience working on industrial hydraulic systems within heavy manufacturing, processing, mining, pulp & paper, steel, food manufacturing, or similarly complex environments. You'll also bring: Strong hydraulic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills The ability to interpret hydraulic schematics and system designs Experience working with SAP or another CMMS A methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail A genuine passion for continuous improvement and reliability engineering Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work across maintenance and engineering teams What We're Looking For We're interested in people with backgrounds such as: Hydraulic Specialist Reliability Technician Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Hydraulics) Maintenance Planner with strong hydraulic expertise Hydraulic Field Service Technician looking to move into a site-based specialist role #J-18808-Ljbffr
