Full-time hours Ongoing temporary assignment Immediate start available Competitive hourly rate based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunity to work with a respected local manufacturer About the Role As a Workshop Team Member, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day manufacturing process. You'll work alongside an experienced team to produce quality components, prepare products for dispatch, assist with stock management, and operate a variety of workshop machinery. This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in delivering quality results. Key Responsibilities Manufacture components from production sheets, engineering drawings, and jigs Operate workshop machinery, including CNC equipment Assist with general workshop production and assembly Pack finished products, fittings, and components ready for dispatch Assist with inwards goods, stock control, and stock takes Complete production paperwork and time sheets accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Identify hazards and follow Health & Safety procedures Take care of workshop equipment and tools Operate company vehicles when required (appropriate license required) Support the wider workshop team and undertake other duties as needed What We're Looking For Previous experience in a manufacturing, workshop, or production environment Experience operating workshop machinery (CNC experience is advantageous but not essential) Ability to read production sheets and engineering drawings is an advantage Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Excellent organizational and time management skills Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude Understanding of workplace Health & Safety Site or construction experience is beneficial Full Class 1 driver's license preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
