About the Role: We are currently seeking for 3 friendly, reliable and proactive Casual Patrol Officers to join our team in the Christchurch region. In this casual role, you’ll support our mobile patrol operations by delivering professional patrol services and responding to scheduled and reactive client needs to help protect properties through effective patrols, alarm responses, and security protocols. SHIFT : Enjoy a consistent night shift schedule, with rostered hours between 6:00 PM and 5:00 AM Key Responsibilities: Conduct mobile patrols to protect client properties and prevent unauthorised access Respond promptly and professionally to alarm activations in line with SOPs Work rostered shifts, including nights, and remain available for call‑outs Maintain patrol vehicles and company assets to a high standard Complete accurate incident reports and log all activities clearly and timely Deliver outstanding customer service with a professional, courteous approach Operate safely, lawfully, and in compliance with health and safety requirements Support wider operations, including specialist security tasks when required Our Ideal Candidate: Hold experience in security patrol preferred but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidates. Hold experience dealing with Animal welfare and noise complaints (preferred but not essential) Demonstrates strong communication skills with a professional, customer focused approach Reliable, diligent and able to work independently without direct supervision Confident decision maker who remains calm and effective under pressure High attention to detail with competent report writing and incident logging skills Sound knowledge of transport legislation, local geography and safe driving practices Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements and security industry standards Is well-presented, honest, and a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Mandatory Requirements: To progress through the recruitment process, you’ll need to consent to and meet our pre-employment checks, which include: Driver’s Licence, Credit, Ministry of Justice Criminal History, and Immigration checks Currently reside in the Christchurch region and be legally eligible to work in New Zealand A clean, full New Zealand Driver’s Licence (manual preferred) Hold (or be willing to work towards) NZQA Level 2 Security qualifications Hold a Certificate of Approval (COA) (essential) Demonstrates strong communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
