South and Mid Canterbury The Drug Detection Agency – Timaru, South Island Does working with people who are generally well appeal to you? We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis - and grow with us. This is a for a new nurse to work in our expanded South and Mid Canterbury operation. Health Tick is a service line of an existing business with a large nationwide client base and clinics located across New Zealand. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with strong clinical experience and a passion for Occupational Health to join our team. With a variety of services being offered including Pre-employment Medicals, Drug Testing, Annual Health Monitoring and Workplace Vaccinations. No single day will be the same. Happy to discuss hours. Based in Timaru - but sometimes working in the Mid Canterbury (Ashburton) area Opportunity to grow and develop with the role as the business continues to grow Working within a high performing team. Initially casual but will likely become more. Open to a nurse who wishes to contract instead. The Ideal Candidate: Qualifications and experience working in Occupational Health preferred but not compulsory. Experience providing several different services including - pre-employment medicals, drug testing (not a priority initially), health monitoring, health checks, workplace vaccinations, and phlebotomy Strong clinical background Motivated to practice in the field of Workplace Health A fantastic attitude, bringing a strong sense of innovation to create a market disruptive service A team player that has strong relationship management skills Excellent interpersonal skills and time management skills Strong computer literacy and the ability to think outside the square within the context of technology and the provision of health service delivery Excellent written and verbal skills and attention to detail You will have a: Tertiary Nursing qualification Full NZ Driver's License Independent vaccinator and phlebotomy and drug testing experience is preferred but not essential Comfortable driving the Health Tick van Full training and ongoing support will be given to the successful candidate. As part of the selection process you will be required to complete a pre-employment drug hair test, medical and criminal history check.
