We are seeking reliable and hardworking Construction Labourers to join our busy team in Canterbury. This role offers hands‑on experience across a variety of active commercial, residential, and civil construction sites. Working alongside skilled tradespeople, you will play a crucial role in maintaining site workflow, assisting with daily construction tasks, and keeping projects moving safely and efficiently. About the Role We are seeking reliable and hardworking Construction Labourers to join our busy team in Canterbury. This role offers hands‑on experience across a variety of active commercial, residential, and civil construction sites. Working alongside skilled tradespeople, you will play a crucial role in maintaining site workflow, assisting with daily construction tasks, and keeping projects moving safely and efficiently. What You’ll Be Doing Assisting various tradespeople on‑site with daily construction and preparation tasks Operating basic power tools, hand tools, and site equipment safely Assisting with basic steel fixing, tying rebar, and placing mesh (experience is a strong plus!) Site setup, cleanup, and ensuring a safe, tidy work environment at all times Moving, loading, and unloading construction materials around site Digging trenches, site excavation support, and preparing surfaces for concrete or build phases Following all health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 year of experience working on construction or civil sites Must hold a valid Class 1 Driver’s License (mandatory) and reliable transport Must have your own standard PPE (Steel cap boots, Hi‑Vis vest/shirt, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves) Steel fixing experience (tying steel, rebar placement) is a huge advantage!
