Rightmove Recruitment – Christchurch, South Island About the role We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead one of our growing construction clients in Christchurch. As the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction operations, from project management to business development. This is a full-time permanent role, working within an established and growing company based in Christchurch. What you'll be doing Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of construction professionals Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards What we're looking for Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior management role within the construction industry Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders What’s on offer competitive salary work vehicle phone laptop About Us At Rightmove Recruitment, we understand there’s a difference between a job and a career you love.
