About the Role Rotational Physiotherapist 1.0 FTE We are seeking an experienced NZ Registered Physiotherapist who would like to utilise their previous hospital experience in a rotational role in our inpatient team. Rotations are 6-12 monthly and include: Medical Orthopaedics/Surgical ICU Inpatient Rehabilitation Acute Strokes Rural Hospital (Inpatients and Community) This role will include rostered on call and weekend work after a period of training and orientation to relevant competencies. Please click here to view the job description About the Team/Service/Location This work occurs within the Physiotherapy department at Taranaki Base Hospital or Hawera hospital. For more information on living and working in Taranaki click here About you You will need to have: Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate Valid work Visa for NZ and Drivers licence Ideally 4-5 years previous inpatient hospital experience A passion for teaching and developing junior staff and students Problem solving approach Excellent cultural knowledge & practice Te Reo speaking is an advantage Excellent communication skills to work with other staff and patients Excellent computer skills Desire for ongoing self-directed learning Working visa/NZ residence (as appropriate) Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
