Industrial Maintenance Technician

Godfrey Hirst NZ Ltd is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Manukau, Auckland. This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the machinery and equipment essential to our manufacturing operations. What you'll be doing Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance, repairs, and installations Collaborating with production teams to ensure optimal equipment performance Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures Supporting the continuous improvement of our maintenance processes What we're looking for Formal training or qualifications in industrial maintenance or a related engineering discipline Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and schematics Excellent mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to continuous improvement What we offer Competitive salary and benefits package Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Access to the latest maintenance technologies and tools Opportunities for career advancement within a growing organisation About us Godfrey Hirst NZ Ltd is a leading manufacturer of high-quality flooring products.
