About the role We are looking for a motivated and reliable Gardener to join our Rangiora team. In this varied, hands‑on role, you will carry out chemical weed control, gardening and grounds maintenance across commercial contracts. You will also support the wider team with lawn mowing, general labouring and other outdoor maintenance tasks as required. What you'll bring A strong work ethic and a collaborative approach A proactive, practical attitude to solving problems Physical fitness and confidence working outdoors in varied conditions A tidy, methodical approach and pride in quality results The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively Good communication and organisational skills Reliability and a strong commitment to health and safety Skills and experience A current, clean full New Zealand driver licence; quad bike experience would be an advantage Practical gardening, horticulture or grounds maintenance experience; a Level 3 or 4 horticulture qualification is desirable Experience using and maintaining outdoor power equipment Experience applying agrichemicals; GROWSAFE certification would be an advantage, although training can be provided What we offer Discounts tied to popular retailers and service providers through our 'Boost' programme.
