We're looking for a Night Public Area Cleaner to join us on a permanent, full-time basis with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week. Working through the night, you'll play a vital role in ensuring QT Queenstown is guest-ready from the moment the first arrival steps through the door. Previous cleaning experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred. The hours for this role are 11:30pm to 7:30am. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel throughout the night shift, including lobbies, entrances, walkways, lifts, public bathrooms and the gymnasium, to the highest standard. Follow all housekeeping policies, procedures and cleaning schedules as directed by the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisors. Ensure the main Housekeeping storeroom is kept clean, tidy and well organised at all times. Greet hotel guests courteously and professionally throughout the shift, reporting any unusual situations or potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor immediately. Maintain impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards consistent with the QT brand. Attend monthly departmental meetings and training sessions, and assist other departments as required. What You'll Bring Minimum 1 year of previous cleaning experience in a hotel. A strong eye for detail and a genuine pride in delivering a spotless, guest-ready environment. The ability to work independently through the night shift with professionalism and reliability. A courteous, respectful manner when interacting with guests and colleagues. Full flexibility to work permanent night shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Knowledge of WHS practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
