Reggies is a busy, casual, and fun American-Italianish restaurant on the top floor of Made. We opened in November 2024 and more recently won Restaurant of the Year at the 2026 Waikato Hospitality Awards. We need a hands-on keen Commis Chef with a passion for Pizza. About the role You will be responsible for ensuring the performance of your section, following all procedures set out by the senior team correctly and maintaining consistency throughout all aspects of food prep and service. Key responsibilities Ensure all meals are completed and dispatched within a timely manner Produce high quality food to a high standard at all times, including presentation and taste, following processes and menus while using correct ingredients Maintain standards and ensure preparation and cleanliness requirements are adhered to Keep your area clean and hygienic at all times About you Be honest, reliable and hard working Strong leadership and motivational skills The ability to use balanced judgement and make well-assessed decisions for the business The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, both within and outside the organisation, sometimes under stressful or even confrontational circumstances Have good product knowledge and strive towards increasing this knowledge Have a reasonable level of computer literacy A current Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate At least 1 years experience in a similar role What We Offer Competitive Salary: Paid well for the value you bring.
