DCM Urban is looking for an Intermediate Landscape Architect to join our growing team. We work across landscape architecture and urban design, delivering a diverse range of projects from masterplanning and large-scale developments through to detailed landscape design and public realm. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career — working alongside experienced landscape architects and urban designers, taking ownership of projects, and having a genuine influence on the work we deliver. About the role As an Intermediate Landscape Architect, you will be involved in all stages of project delivery, from site analysis and concept development through to detailed design, assessments, and construction. You'll work alongside experienced landscape architects and urban designers, contributing to projects that shape communities throughout Canterbury and New Zealand. Key responsibilities Preparing landscape designs and masterplans for a variety of projects Undertaking landscape and visual impact assessments Developing concept, developed, and detailed design packages Producing high-quality graphics, plans, visualisations, and reports Supporting resource consent and planning processes Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities Conducting site visits and construction observation About you A degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent qualification 3-7 years' professional experience in landscape architecture Experience across residential, infrastructure, commercial, public realm, or environmental projects Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, GIS, or similar software is advantageous Understanding of New Zealand planning and consenting processes Strong graphic presentation and report-writing skills The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork #J-18808-Ljbffr
