Operating across industrial heating, advanced cable and harness assemblies and contract manufacturing, Argus serves industries such as aerospace, medical technology and transport. We're seeking a driven leader who can take ownership of their production area, build high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement whilst growing their own leadership capability as the business continues to expand. About the Role Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll lead a team of approximately 20-40 employees and be accountable for the safe, effective, and consistent performance of your production area. You'll take ownership of daily production delivery, people leadership, performance management, quality outcomes, safety, and improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Driving production performance and achieving operational targets Leading, training, coaching, and developing your team Managing attendance, performance, conduct, and employee engagement Maintaining strong safety, quality, and operational standards Identifying issues early and implementing effective solutions with confidence and accountability Leading Lean and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborating closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and People & Culture teams What We're Looking For You'll be a hands-on leader who enjoys building strong teams and improving performance. Ideally, you'll bring: 3+ years' experience supervising production or operational teams within a manufacturing environment Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management skills The confidence to make decisions, solve problems, and drive outcomes independently Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, or structured problem-solving methodologies Engineering or technical manufacturing experience, particularly in advanced cable and harness assemblies, is an added advantage Strong communication and relationship-building skills A proactive, adaptable, and growth-oriented mindset Why Join Argus?
