Registered Health Clinician - He Tupua Waiora (Pregnancy and Parental Service) New Zealand Government•Northland, North Island, NZ Permanent, part‑time role (0.6FTE) working 24‑hours per week, with potential to increase FTE within the wider Kia TÅą NgÄąwari team. About the Role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Health Clinician to join our Pregnancy and Parental Service He Tupua Waiora. Within this role, you will work with all members of the multidisciplinary team as well as āāngata whaiora, whánau, and their local communities. You will be working with parents who are pregnant and/or have a child or children up to the age of three years, who present with co‑existing problems involving drugs and/or alcohol, and who have a range of complex challenges that require the support of skilled clinicians both internal and external to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora. About the Team/Service/Location He Tupua Waiora is a specialist, community‑based mental health and addictions service that supports wähine, partners, and whánau during pregnancy and early parenting, with a strong focus on infant wellbeing. Our team, based in Manaia House in central Whangárei, works collaboratively using culturally safe, evidence‑based practice to provide integrated care, coordination, and support for families with complex psychosocial and substance use needs. About you A relevant health qualification, with current New Zealand professional registration and practising certificate Proven experience in mental health and/or addiction services, including case management, care coordination, and delivery of therapeutic interventions Experience working within a harm reduction framework and supporting clients with complex psychosocial needs, ideally in community or perinatal settings Excellent communication skills, teamwork and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload and collaborate across multidisciplinary and interagency networks We embrace a workforce that is diverse and inclusive so that we are better positioned to understand and service our community.
