Mō te Tūranga | About the Role As an Emergency Medicine Fellow, you'll join the dynamic team at Christchurch Hospital's Emergency Department, caring for more than 135,000 patients each year, with approximately 25% requiring hospital admission. This Fellowship combines hands-on clinical practice with protected non-clinical time to pursue professional development aligned with your interests. You'll be supported by experienced Emergency Physicians and have opportunities to contribute to education, leadership, research, quality improvement and service development. Areas of focus may include: Hyperbaric and Dive Medicine Ultrasound Medical Education and Simulation Research Toxicology Health Informatics Geriatric Emergency Medicine Palliative Care This Fellowship is designed for doctors nearing completion of Emergency Medicine training or within the first five years following Fellowship, providing valuable experience during the transition to consultant practice.
