Are you passionate about the night sky and love sharing its wonders with others? We're looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Astronomy Guide to join our team and help deliver unforgettable stargazing experiences! As an Astronomy Guide, you'll be responsible for leading engaging and educational tours, sharing fascinating facts about constellations, planets, galaxies, and more. You'll inspire a sense of awe and wonder in our guests, making the cosmos accessible and exciting for everyone. Key Responsibilities Conduct engaging and informative astronomy tours for groups of varying sizes. Share in-depth knowledge of celestial objects, astronomical phenomena, and related scientific concepts. Operate and maintain telescopes and other astronomical equipment (training will be provided). Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants during tours. Answer guest questions clearly and accurately. What We're Looking For Mandatory: Demonstrated strong knowledge of astronomy (e.g., constellations, planets, deep-sky objects, basic astrophysics). Mandatory: Full and valid driver's license (manual preferred, but automatic acceptable). Preferred: Own reliable car for transport to and from tour locations. Preferred: Prior experience in public speaking, guiding, or teaching is a plus, but not essential. We value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as tours are weather dependent. A friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude. Why Join Us?
