About the role Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role As part of the volunteer recruitment team, the Coordinator Recruitment works alongside a team of other Coordinators, Administrators and Advisors based in National Headquarters in Wellington. This role is unique compared to other recruitment coordination roles where you will be responsible for medical triage, sourcing further medical information and completing medical screening to progress applicants. This also includes checking medical information for completeness, determining next steps in medical processing and finalising completed medical checks. Confident telephone skills and competence in discussing medical issues with applicants is required. This is a fixed term role starting ASAP through to 24 December 2026. What you'll bring to the role As part of a friendly and engaging team, you will bring your excellent customer service skills to support a great experience for our candidates and leaders. As a natural people person, you will make connections with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Working with sensitive information, you will show professionalism, empathy, maturity and resilience. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a medical or health environment. Experience in HR, or Recruitment coordination would be a bonus.
