Senior bar tender/wine waiter

Astrolabe Small Town Winery is a cellar door and wine bar in the heart of sunny Marlborough. We are looking for 2-3 experienced hospitality professionals to join the team. Role The role includes: wine service, including guided tastings food preparation closing procedures including cleaning and packing away furniture. Benefits and Compensation Full, paid training on our Astrolabe range of wines and menu will be provided. Pay starts at $28/h + 8% casual loading. Work Conditions This is a casual role. Hours per week will vary, between 9:30 am and 11:00 pm approx, with total hours between 50 - 80 hours per fortnight. Minimum 12 weeks commitment, but can offer longer employment and more hours to a great candidate. Availability to start before the end of August preferred. Requirements You must have the right to live and work in NZ to apply for this role. Working Holiday Visas are welcome. The ideal team member will be cheerful and energetic, have a flair for food and drink presentation, have excellent customer service skills, and have an enthusiasm for wine.
