Marlborough Motorcycles 2023 Limited – Blenheim, South Island Marlborough Motorcycles | Full-Time | Marlborough We’re looking for a Motorcycle Technician to join the team at Marlborough Motorcycles. We’re the largest motorcycle shop in the Top of the South, servicing all makes and models, and we’re proud to be authorised dealers for Kawasaki, Suzuki and CFMOTO. We’ve got a modern, well-equipped workshop and there’s plenty of variety in what comes through the doors. We work on everything from road bikes, enduro and motocross bikes through to ATVs, farm bikes and side‑by‑sides. A big part of what we do is supporting our local industries, providing servicing and repairs for customers across Marlborough’s vineyards and farms, as well as looking after our recreational and road‑riding customers. If you’re handy on the tools, know your way around a bike and take pride in doing a job properly, we’d like to hear from you. This is primarily a workshop-based role, with the possibility of some field servicing work throughout Marlborough and across the Top of the South Island. Experience with field servicing would be an advantage, or we’d be keen to hear from someone who likes the idea of getting out on‑site when the need arises. What you’ll be doing Servicing and repairing all makes and models Working on road bikes, enduro bikes, motocross bikes, ATVs, farm bikes and side‑by‑sides Mechanical and electrical fault finding General repairs and diagnostics Fitting tyres, accessories and aftermarket parts Pre‑delivery inspections and getting new bikes and machines ready to go Working with Kawasaki, Suzuki and CFMOTO products Potential field servicing and repairs throughout Marlborough and across the Top of the South Island Who we’re looking for We’re not looking for someone who ticks every box on a list. We want someone who knows their stuff, has a good attitude and fits in well with the team. Ideally, you’ll have experience working on motorcycles, ATVs or side‑by‑sides, be confident with mechanical and electrical fault finding and be able to get stuck in and work independently when needed. Experience with field servicing would be a bonus. If you haven’t done it before but would be interested in occasionally getting out of the workshop and working on machines on‑site at vineyards, farms and other locations throughout Marlborough and the wider Top of the South Island, that’s something we’d be happy to develop with you. A relevant trade qualification and motorcycle licence would be an advantage, but experience, practical ability and the right attitude are just as important to us.
