Contract Administrator - Casual * Location : Health NZ – MidCentral * Department : Business Performance and Support Services Help Shape the Future of Health in Aotearoa An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and organised professional to join the Business Performance and Support Services team in a casual Contract Administrator role. This position provides flexible casual support across a range of administrative and contract coordination activities that contribute to the effective delivery of services across MidCentral. You will play an important role in supporting operational teams by assisting with contract administration processes, documentation management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. We are seeking someone who is adaptable, detail-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. About the Role As a Casual Contract Administrator, you will provide administrative and coordination support to assist with the management and monitoring of contracts and service agreements across the organisation. Working alongside operational leaders and key stakeholders, you will help ensure contract-related processes are maintained efficiently and accurately. Key responsibilities Providing administrative support for contract management activities Assisting with the preparation, formatting, and maintenance of contract documentation Supporting reporting, data entry, and document control processes Coordinating meetings, communications, and follow-up actions with stakeholders Maintaining accurate records and filing systems Assisting with service improvement and business support activities as required Supporting compliance with organisational processes and timelines Contributing to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement About You Previous administrative experience, ideally within a healthcare or complex organisational environment Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database systems The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently A flexible and collaborative approach to work Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
