We're looking for an experienced and relationship-focused Community Partnerships Coordinator to help drive positive social outcomes across our district. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the communities of the Thames-Coromandel district while working with passionate people who care deeply about community wellbeing. About the role Reporting to the Community Resilience Manager, you'll work alongside community groups, iwi, government agencies, funders, schools and other stakeholders to support community wellbeing and sustainability. You'll help identify community priorities, facilitate projects and initiatives, support funding opportunities, and strengthen networks that empower communities to achieve their aspirations. Building and maintaining strong community and stakeholder partnerships Supporting community-led development projects and initiatives Developing and securing external funding opportunities Supporting community safety and resilience initiatives Working in partnership with iwi and diverse community groups across the district. What you'll bring We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with practical action and has a genuine commitment to community development. Experience in community development, the social sector, local government or a related field A strong understanding of social and community issues Proven success securing grants, funding and external investment Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills Strong project management, communication and report-writing abilities The ability to influence, collaborate and work effectively across diverse groups A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience A full NZ drivers licence is required as well as the right to work in New Zealand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
