We're working with a well-established NZ success story that's continuing to invest heavily in its people, plant, and future growth. They're looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their engineering team and take ownership of the site's refrigeration systems. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from day-to-day maintenance and fault-finding, through to major plant upgrades and improvement projects. What you'll be doing Looking after industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and freon plant equipment Fault finding, troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs Preventative maintenance to keep the plant running at its best Working alongside the wider engineering team on plant upgrades and capital projects Helping identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and performance Playing a key role in the ongoing development of the site's refrigeration plant What we're looking for NZQA Level 4 Refrigeration qualification (or equivalent) Strong industrial refrigeration experience - ammonia experience is essential Solid fault-finding skills and a practical, hands-on approach Someone already based in New Zealand What's in it for you Work with a respected NZ brand that's investing in its future Get involved in some exciting refrigeration and plant upgrade projects Stable, long-term opportunity in a busy manufacturing environment Genuine career progression opportunities Supportive team who know their stuff and enjoy what they do Competitive salary package #J-18808-Ljbffr
