Whanau Worker - Family Works Central Otago We are looking for a skilled person to support families and individuals who access our services to effect sustainable positive change in their lives through providing safe interventions, group programs, advocacy and promoting empowerment. About the role In this role you will work alongside our Local multi-disciplinary team as well as connect with our wider Family Works team across the Otago region to provide effective, quality social work services to clients and the community. Hours: This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week. About You We would love you to: Understand the social and economic complexities that exist across our communities. Have highly developed interpersonal skills, including relationship skills and advocacy skills. Be able to facilitate programs across generations. Be able to work independently but also as part of a dynamic multi-agency team. Having experience working within the social, health or justice sectors is of benefit. Be able to successfully navigate and manage diverse roles and responsibilities.
