Financial Adviser - KiwiSaver & Financial Planning Vesta Finance & Advisory is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, people-focused Financial Adviser to join our team, with a focus on KiwiSaver, investment advice and financial planning. At Vesta, we help clients understand where they are now, where they want to get to, and put clear strategies in place to help them achieve their financial goals. The Role You’ll work directly with new and existing clients across: KiwiSaver and investment advice Wealth creation Cashflow and savings strategies Debt reduction and financial goal setting You’ll also work closely with our lending advisers to provide clients with a connected, long‑term financial advice experience. We’re looking for someone who wants to build trusted client relationships — not simply complete a KiwiSaver review and move on. Key Responsibilities Conduct KiwiSaver, UK pension, investment and financial planning reviews Understand clients’ goals, financial position and risk profile Research and prepare personalised advice and recommendations Develop practical financial plans and strategies Use financial modelling to demonstrate options and future outcomes Present advice clearly and confidently Build and maintain strong long‑term client relationships Prepare quality advice documentation and Statements of Advice Maintain accurate CRM, compliance and client records Complete ongoing client reviews Build relationships with referral partners and local businesses Support workplace financial wellbeing and KiwiSaver education initiatives Contribute ideas to help grow Vesta’s financial planning offering About You You may already be working as a Financial Adviser, KiwiSaver Adviser or Financial Planner and be looking for your next opportunity. Ideally, you’ll: Have experience in KiwiSaver, investments or financial planning Meet the competency requirements to provide regulated financial advice in New Zealand Hold the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), or equivalent recognised competence Be registered as a Financial Adviser, or able to become registered under Vesta’s FAP licence Be confident conducting client meetings and presenting advice Have strong communication and relationship‑building skills Be organised, proactive and detail‑focused Have a genuine interest in helping people improve their financial position Most importantly, you’ll put clients first, enjoy working as part of a team and be excited about contributing to a growing business.
