Experienced Dental Assistant – Fixed Term / Specific Dates Lynfield Dental Centre – Auckland, North Island We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly team on a short-term fixed-term basis, covering seven specific days in September and October 2026. This is not a full-time ongoing position. The required dates are: Tuesday 22 September Wednesday 23 September Tuesday 29 September Wednesday 30 September Tuesday 6 October Wednesday 7 October Tuesday 13 October Wednesday 14 October Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm each day. About the role You’ll be assisting the dentist with a wide range of general dental procedures, helping with infection control, instrument processing and patient care, and ensuring the surgery runs smoothly throughout the day. Key responsibilities Assisting the dentist with general dental procedures Infection control and sterilisation Instrument processing Patient care Helping ensure the surgery runs smoothly throughout the day About you We’re looking for someone who: Has previous experience as a dental assistant Is confident chairside with general dentistry Has excellent infection control and sterilisation knowledge Is organised, reliable and punctual Enjoys working as part of a friendly team Has a warm, professional manner with patients Has experience with EXACT practice management software (an advantage, but not essential) About us Lynfield Dental Centre is a modern, well-established dental practice providing high-quality care in a relaxed and supportive environment.
