Yardman / Driver / Duty Manager when required SHORTS TRANSPORT LTD – Rotorua, North Island Gardeners Landscape Supplies has a vacancy for a "Yardman / Driver / Duty Manager when required". This is a full-time position ideally suited to someone seeking 48 hours per week and able to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays if required. We are looking for an honest, reliable, conscientious and motivated person to join our small team, someone with the ability to remain calm and professional should a challenging situation arise. Key responsibilities Assist with serving customers and loading of customers' utes and car trailers Load and make deliveries in trucks, throughout the Bay of Plenty and South Waikato Regions Operate the Cash Till and close it at the end of the day when required Load bags of product for sale and for display in yard Keep the yard tidy at all times Carry out other tasks from time to time, as directed About you Able to operate a range of equipment, including trucks, loaders and tractors, while ensuring everything is used safely and maintained to a high standard Contributes to a safe and respectful workplace by following all health and safety procedures A clean Police Record NZ residency or valid NZ working visa Forklift – F Endorsement (or the ability to complete training for this) Wheels / Tracks / Rollers (or the ability to complete training for this) About us Shorts Transport Limited T/A Gardeners Landscape Supplies is a locally owned and family operated garden supply company situated at 159 Sala Street, Rotorua.
