You will become a trusted partner to our Recruitment Specialists, helping manage complex recruitment processes, coordinating multiple priorities, and ensuring every detail is taken care of. About the role This is a fantastic opportunity to build recruitment experience within New Zealand's largest health organisation. You will gain exposure to end-to-end recruitment while supporting the appointment of Senior Medical Officers and other roles that make a real difference to healthcare delivery. Working in a busy, supportive team, no two days are the same. You will juggle competing priorities, adapt to changing demands, and become an expert in the systems and processes that support medical recruitment. What you will be doing Supporting Recruitment Specialists throughout the end-to-end recruitment process Coordinating interviews with candidates and hiring managers Completing phone screens and reference checks Managing candidate communications and providing an exceptional recruitment experience Processing applications and maintaining accurate recruitment records Supporting pre-employment checks and complex recruitment administration Learning and managing specialist Medical Council registration processes and compliance requirements Anticipating what's needed next and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks About you You are someone who enjoys being busy and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You remain calm under pressure, think ahead, and are happiest when you are solving problems and helping others. You will bring Experience in recruitment coordination, high-volume administration, or another fast-paced operational environment Outstanding organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail The ability to manage multiple competing priorities without losing sight of the details Initiative, sound judgement, and confidence to work independently Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people Confidence learning new systems and processes: you are naturally curious and pick things up quickly A positive, can-do attitude and genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service Experience in recruitment is helpful, but we are equally interested in people who have demonstrated success coordinating complex workloads in busy environments. If you are organised, adaptable, and love getting things done, we will provide the training and support to help you succeed.
