GBL - Part of the Salt Group – Hamilton, North Island We’re looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Hamilton operation. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys building strong customer relationships while delivering commercial results. Your background will highlight your sales leadership success rather than operational. We’re interested in people who have successfully led teams and branches within industries such as construction, building supplies, timber, electrical, landscaping, civil, roofing, trade merchants, industrial distribution, hire equipment, or similar sectors. About the role As Branch Manager, you’ll have full responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the branch, ensuring outstanding customer service, strong financial results, and a safe, positive workplace culture. You’ll work closely with customers, shareholders, suppliers and your team to identify opportunities, grow sales, and strengthen relationships in the local market. Key responsibilities include: Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing branch team Driving sales growth, profitability and market share Building strong customer and supplier relationships Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are delivered every day Managing branch operations, inventory and pricing Overseeing health, safety and well-being across the branch Planning and executing local promotions and business initiatives Managing branch assets and maintaining operational excellence Monitoring performance and reporting on key business metrics About you You’ll be a practical, commercially minded leader who enjoys being visible in the business and out in front of customers. You will need to lead from the front with energy and passion to bring the team on a journey of excellence!
