The Salvation Army – Christchurch, South Island The Salvation Army Bridge Services provide a range of effective support services in both residential and community based settings that use a range of evidence-based holistic approaches to reduce the physical, psyiological and social harm that can result from the use of alcohol and other drugs. Our services encourage participation in the development and practical application of skills where people are supported to set their own goals and recovery plan in order to reduce the harmful effects of alcohol and or other drugs. What will your responsibilities be: Support Peer Service Delivery locally, and oversee all aspects of service delivery Line manage Christchurch Peer Support Workers through initial orientation, ongoing support and regular well-being and development conversations Participate in the functions of the Christchurch Bridge Management Team To provide a supportive and safe environment for clients Uphold The Salvation Army's Mission and Christian ethos. Value and respect the individuality, dignity and privacy of each client of the Bridge Programme. Preserve confidentiality of clients' personal information. Maintain good communication with clients, family/whanau, and other team members. Committed to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi as they apply to The Salvation Army Bridge Programme.
