Beautiful Island Bay location with stunning grounds Varied accounting role with a supportive team environment We are looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to join an established organisation based in Island Bay, Wellington. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking for a part-time role with variety, flexibility and a fantastic working environment. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work across the finance function, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation. You will be involved in accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, month-end, and assisting the Management Accountant with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to improvements across financial systems, reporting and processes, so this is a role that offers more than just transactional accounting. You will bring: 3+ years' accounting experience A good understanding of accounting principles and processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organisational and communication skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team In return, you will join a collaborative team environment where your contributions will be valued!
