We are a leading Auckland based Forklift Driver Training Company, and are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic person who is passionate about helping people to make a difference in their lives by passing on their knowledge and experience in the transport and logistics/warehousing industry, both at our premises and our clients’ premises. This role will ideally suit someone who has experience in the transport and logistics/warehousing industry, who has also driven a variety of Materials Handling Equipment, particularly Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts. Our role as Forklift Instructor will require you: To be able to engage with a variety of cultures, and a mixture of people from staff to Managers. To be available to work flexible hours including some after hours, Saturdays and occasional Sundays To be confident and able to present and teach well, or willing to learn how To be able to travel out of town when required To have experience in operating Materials Handling Equipment To have a full clean NZ Drivers Licence and a reliable motor vehicle To have an excellent understanding of the English language, and excellent paperwork/reporting skills To be able to present yourself in a clean and tidy, professional manner This full time position is based in Auckland, and whilst the majority of work will be in the Auckland vicinity, there will be some travel required in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty/Northern regions. A competitive base salary is offered with voluntary overtime available during busy period earning up to $15,000per annum above base gross salary Full training will be given to the successful applicant. Mileage will be paid for all off-site work.
