We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Practice Nurse to provide primary care nursing support, patient interventions and treatment within the Avonhead Surgery. The role represents a great opportunity to work in a highly respected practice in the community and where you can make a real difference to patient’s lives. You must have: 2+ years experience in a GP practice A current annual practicing cert and Nursing Registration A current CPR cert A current vaccinator’s cert and a cervical smear cert You must be confident in: Patient triage ECG monitoring Caring for wounds/dressings etc Phlebotomy Diabetes care We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, keeps a cool head in emergency situations, enjoys working in General Practice and has a passion for improving and maintaining the health of all patients.
