Creators Waipa is looking for a passionate and nurturing kaiako to join our Tui Room, working alongside our wonderful two and three year olds. We are a Christian kindergarten and not-for-profit organisation in Te Awamutu, whose resources are invested back into the children and educators we serve. We see every tamaiti as uniquely created, full of wonder and potential, and believe that when children feel deeply loved, valued and secure, they have the confidence to explore, learn and discover. You’ll join our small and dedicated team, working family-friendly hours of 8.30am-3.00pm, Monday to Friday, with an additional two hours of dedicated non-contact time each week. We intentionally keep our group sizes small, allowing our kaiako to form deep and meaningful relationships with each child and their whānau. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our curriculum is responsive and inquiry-based. Rather than simply directing children's learning, our kaiako listen, observe and collaborate with tamariki, extending their ideas through thoughtful environments, experiences, materials and encounters.
