Work across governance, privacy, legal and technical delivery ASAP start Work across governance, privacy, legal and technical delivery ASAP start 7 month contract - brings you over Christmas period We’re recruiting an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a significant health data programme responding to recommendations arising from a high-profile data breach. This is a complex programme with a substantial governance overlay, bringing together recommendations across privacy, security and health system reviews while establishing the foundations for the programme’s next phase. About the role You’ll work across both programme-level governance and technical delivery, helping translate recommendations, risks and requirements into clear actions and deliverables. A key part of the role will be bringing structure and visibility across the programme. You’ll need to be equally comfortable working through detailed requirements with technical and business stakeholders as you are preparing clear reporting for senior leadership and governance forums. The wider programme also includes planned API development to support the secure sharing of clinical discharge information and notes with approved portal providers. Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering and analysis across complex programme and technical workstreams. Translate privacy, security, legal and governance requirements into clear business and technical requirements. Support requirements and analysis relating to the development of APIs and secure clinical data access. Work closely with programme leadership, technical teams, security, privacy, legal and commercial stakeholders. Produce clear, concise reporting for senior leadership and governance forums, including monthly reporting. Track recommendations, actions, risks, dependencies and delivery progress across the programme. Support governance processes and ensure appropriate documentation and traceability of decisions. Identify and articulate areas of risk across vendors, data access, security and governance. Help connect detailed delivery activity with the programme’s broader objectives and future investment planning. About you We’re looking for a genuinely senior BA who can operate comfortably across technical delivery, governance and executive-level reporting. Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst within large, complex programmes. Experience producing reporting and documentation for senior leadership, boards or governance forums. Exposure to privacy, legal, security and governance requirements. Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation capability. Experience working with technical delivery teams, ideally involving APIs, integrations or data platforms. The ability to bring together requirements and perspectives from multiple specialist areas. Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging at senior levels. Experience within health, government or another highly regulated environment would be advantageous. This role will suit someone who can move comfortably between the detail and the bigger picture - working with delivery teams to define what needs to happen while giving programme leadership the clarity they need around progress, risk, governance and next steps.
