About the Role We’re looking for an FIL Area Manager to take ownership of the West Coast region. Reporting to the Senior Manager – South Island FT Sales, you’ll be responsible for delivering the approved sales plan and driving growth across the area. Key responsibilities include: Implementing sales programmes to achieve targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction Building and retaining strong customer relationships to grow the customer base Developing and managing rural retail partners, ensuring successful outcomes for customers, retailers, and the business About You You’ll bring strong sales capability and a genuine affinity for the agribusiness and farming sectors. You’re proactive, relationship‑driven, and confident operating both independently and as part of a wider team. We’re looking for someone with: At least two years’ sales experience and proven results and/or a relevant tertiary qualification Strong understanding of farming operations and the wider agricultural sector Technical knowledge in hygiene, markers, nutrition, milking equipment service, or consumables (advantageous) Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to build and maintain a wide network of key relationships Strong planning, organisation, and strategic thinking skills High attention to detail and accuracy Confidence working autonomously while contributing positively to team culture Why GEA?
