We are seeking an experienced and proven National Sales Manager to join us in Kennington - however this position will travel as required to ensure we continue to maintain our strong position in market and to lead our sales team to achieve their targets. It will be a rewarding role which will balance coaching the team whilst still being hands-on building on existing local customers and partnerships and supporting the Group Sales, Distribution and Marketing Manager with tenders and supplier agreements. Key responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that enhance brand recognition, support growth, and position us competitively in the market. Identify emerging opportunities to grow our customer base and presence. Champion customer relationships and build future-focused partnerships. Manage local customers and merchants. Lead the sales team to achieve targets. Foster an inclusive, productive, and high achieving sales team, overseeing all people related matters within the team. Mentor and develop, with a strong focus on succession planning and resilience in the team structure. Our ideal candidate will have: Industry experience in timber or wood remanufacturing is desirable, but a demonstrated ability to learn a new industry and thrive in it, also will work! Commercial acumen Excellent stakeholder and relationship management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to work with people at all levels. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting and presenting people data. Why join the Niagara team?
