Health Care Assistant - Ophthalmology New Zealand Government Otago, Otago, NZ Health Care Assistant - Ophthalmology Salary Band - $60,100 - $70,358 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver Dunedin Hospital 0.9 FTE / 72 hours per fortnight Permanent vacancy Health New Zealand About the role This role will see you primarily focusing your attention to the overall needs of the service. This is a varied role within a clinical environment, and you will need to be able to take instruction and direction from the nurses on the ward, whilst having a helpful and team focused approach to making a difference to the environment, and care provided to the patients under our care. There may be opportunity to work across multiple areas but will be primarily based in ophthalmology. Supporting our nurses and other members of the health care team Patient supervision and/or movement Patient cares, as required Stock reconciliation Ward maintenance Patient watch, with one on one care as required Shifts are rostered and rotating Please note this vacancy does not qualify for visa sponsorship.
