We are currently seeking either a permanent full time physiotherapist or two permanent part time physiotherapists in our Hamilton Centre. You will thrive in a team environment and have the confidence and initiative to suggest service improvements and provide education to external health providers. The ability to develop and maintain strong professional networks will be key in the success of this role. The successful candidate will work with a wide socio-economic range of patients, on all aspects of post amputation care of the stump(s) through to the fitting and use of artificial limbs. Your strong communication skills will enable you to successful work with a range of health professional internal and external to Peke Waihanga, attend interdisciplinary clinics, obtain and relay information pertinent to the patient’s care and be involved in team decisions regarding on-going care. Peke Waihanga has a strong focus on our staff development, and you will have access to a range of development opportunities. A keen interest in embracing technology to improve patient outcomes will also be key to your success in this role!
