We're looking for a friendly retail team member to join our baby store, with the opportunity to train as a Child Restraint Technician (CRT). This is more than a retail job - it's a chance to build a meaningful skillset and become a trusted expert supporting local families in a locally owned business About the role You'll start as part of our retail team, helping customers choose the right products for their babies and families. Over time, the right candidate will be supported and trained to become a certified Child Restraint Technician , fitting and checking car seats and educating parents on safe travel. No prior car-seat experience is needed - we'll train the right person. *The Hours: This is can either be a full or part-time role 25-33 hours per week, must be available Tuesday to Friday (days/hours negotiable) and 9.30am - 3.00pm Saturdays (this is a must) What you'll be doing Providing warm, knowledgeable customer service in-store Helping families choose baby products that suit their lifestyle Learning about child restraints and safe vehicle installation Assisting with car-seat fittings and checks (once trained) Maintaining a tidy, welcoming store environment Being part of a supportive, mum-led team that genuinely cares This role could be perfect for you if you: Love helping people and building trust with customers Are confident communicating with parents and caregivers Are practical, detail-oriented, and happy learning hands-on skills Have retail or customer service experience (preferred, not essential) Have an interest in child safety, baby products, or family support Are reliable, organised, and a great team player There is a requirement of lifting heavy items Parents and caregivers are encouraged to apply - but you don't need to be a parent to be amazing at this role.
