Warehouse and Warranty Assistant

Solis is seeking a dedicated and organised Warehouse and Warranty Assistant to join our team in Wanaka, Otago. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehousing and distribution activities. You will be responsible for managing inventory, processing warranties, and ensuring that our warehouse operates efficiently. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of service we provide to our customers and supports the broader logistics and distribution operations of the company. Key responsibilities Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders Maintaining accurate inventory levels in the Wanaka warehouse Processing all warranty claims and coordinating returns Assisting with daily order fulfillment and stock integrity checks Receive, check, and put away inwards goods accurately and promptly Update inventory systems and ensure data accuracy Handle warranty and return processes, including communication with suppliers and customers Escalate operational issues (equipment, inventory discrepancies) to the warehouse manager Follow health and safety regulations and report hazards Liaise with customer service for order or warranty-related queries What we're looking for Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and customer service skills Ability to work accurately and efficiently, particularly with inventory management systems Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and lift items regularly Forklift certification or willingness to obtain this qualification Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management software (desirable) A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Reliability and a strong commitment to health and safety practices Previous experience with warranty processing or customer service would be advantageous What we offer Working at Solis, you will be part of a team that values hard work, reliability and continuous improvement.
