The Role When the city winds down, QT Auckland is just getting started. We're looking for a part-time Night Auditor to join our overnight team, keeping the hotel running smoothly, guests looked after and the numbers balanced before the morning shift arrives. This is a part-time role with a minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week , perfect for someone who thrives in a quieter, more autonomous environment without ever compromising on the QT standard of service. Key Responsibilities Welcome late arriving guests and farewell early departures with the warmth and professionalism that defines the QT experience. Complete the full nightly audit process accurately, ensuring all accommodation, food, beverage and miscellaneous revenue is correctly posted and any discrepancies are identified and resolved. Process all cash, credit card, room charge and chargeback payments in line with hotel cashiering policies and procedures. Manage and confirm in-house guest reservation details, book, amend and file reservations accurately, and ensure all necessary audit documentation is in place. Liaise with the Night Manager and coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations and Maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready and all special requests are actioned. Respond to overnight guest enquiries and complaints with tact, care and urgency, maintaining the hotel's established standards of service throughout the shift. What You'll Bring Previous hotel experience in a night audit or front office role is a must. Strong PMS system knowledge is essential. Opera Cloud experience is a significant advantage. A full, valid New Zealand driver's licence is required for this role. A current Manager's Certificate (liquor licensing) is a bonus but not essential. High attention to detail and confidence working through audit and financial reconciliation processes accurately and independently. A warm, professional manner and the ability to deliver a five-star guest experience at any hour. Full flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
