Stress-free, supportive environment - small classes, a close-knit team, and hands-on support so you can focus on teaching, not admin overload Long-term commitment, real stability - this isn't a casual gig; join a centre that values loyalty and offers a genuine long-term role Grow with the centre - as we expand in New Lynn, grow your hours and responsibilities alongside us Key Responsibilities Teaching Deliver engaging, age-appropriate teaching lessons to children aged 5-12, adapting teaching style across a wide developmental range Build a positive, encouraging classroom environment that keeps young learners motivated and confident Track individual student progress and adjust pacing/instruction accordingly Administration & Parent Communication Prepare and share regular assessment and progress reports with parents Communicate each student's expected learning roadmap and milestones clearly Proactively address and listen to parent concerns, acting as the primary point of contact for their child's progress Maintain accurate student records and attendance About You Must be a Level 7 graduatePassionate about teaching and genuinely enjoys working with children aged 5-12 Patient, warm, and comfortable managing a classroom of young learners Strong communicator, confident liaising with parents on progress and concerns Organised, with good attention to detail for reports and record-keeping Prior experience not mandatory (training provided) Reliable and committed to a long-term role with the centre Must hold a valid NZ work permit(Post study work visa, Student dependent work visa or Resident Visa) in New Zealand Able to work from our New Lynn location What We Offer Ongoing training in our teaching methodology A supportive, small-team environment Long-term, stable role with growth potential as the centre expands #J-18808-Ljbffr
