MOVe Group is seeking a reliable and professional Class 4 Driver to join our growing team in Hamilton, Central Waikato. This is a full-time position based in the Hamilton Central Waikato area, where you will play a vital role in our road transport operations. As a Class 4 Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety. This role is essential to our day-to-day operations and directly contributes to our commitment to delivering excellent service to our clients. Key responsibilities Operate Class 4 vehicles safely and professionally in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies Transport goods and passengers to specified destinations whilst maintaining schedules and meeting delivery deadlines Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and report any defects or maintenance issues Maintain accurate logbooks and records of journeys, including fuel consumption and mileage Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported in accordance with legal requirements Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanour with clients and colleagues Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company protocols Support the broader operations team to ensure efficient and effective transport services What we’re looking for Valid New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence with a clean driving record Proven experience driving Class 4 vehicles in commercial or professional settings Strong knowledge of road safety rules, traffic regulations and defensive driving techniques Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet tight schedules Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach Physical fitness and the ability to handle routine vehicle maintenance tasks Reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to safety standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team A clear understanding of logbook requirements and record-keeping practices Preferred: Previous experience in the road transport or logistics industry What we offer At MOVe Group, we value our employees and are committed to creating a supportive and professional work environment.
