About the Role Are you a master storyteller, brand guardian, and marketer looking to make a lasting, real‑world impact? At Taimahi Trust, we operate across four interconnected pillars: our Social Enterprise, Training Academy, Funding, and Systems Change initiatives. We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Lead to own our master narrative, craft authentic impact stories, and drive brand consistency across all four streams. Working 32 hours per week, this role is perfect for a skilled, hands‑on marketer who loves bringing strategy to life through compelling copywriting, practical campaigns, and tangible growth. What You’ll Be Doing Master Brand Narrative: Take our master narrative and actively translate it into pitches, campaign assets, and public messaging across all four streams. Creative Collaboration & SME Input: Act as the brand and marketing SME on cross‑functional projects. You will collaborate with and guide specialist contractors—including CX/UX designers, videographers, photographers, and graphic designers—providing clear briefs and narrative direction for website revisions, video shoots, and brand assets. LinkedIn Content Creation: Write and post compelling, weekly LinkedIn content to highlight our impact, systems change advocacy, enterprise progress, and partner stories. Campaign Strategy, Admin Guidance & Trainee Engagement: Set practical promotional calendars and campaign briefs. You will work closely with our Ops Admin team—providing clear direction and copy‑editing their Facebook posts and basic videos to ensure brand alignment before publishing. You will also spend time on the ground with our Training Academy trainees to capture authentic success stories for case studies, recruitment materials, and our whānau pānui. Whānau & Community Engagement: Write and produce an engaging, accessible pānui for our Training Academy trainees and their families, keeping our core community connected and celebrated. Social Enterprise & Digital Growth: Drive customer engagement and retail sales by writing web copy, managing Google Business Profiles, and building automated email journeys for produce boxes and products. Training Academy & Trainee Stories: Gather and write authentic participant success stories, creating 1-page impact case studies and recruitment collateral. Funding & Systems Change Assets: Supply high‑impact storytelling assets, narrative frameworks, and case study collateral to support our Funding and Systems Change leads in their advocacy and proposals. What We Value in this Role (And What’s Out of Scope!) In Scope: Master narrative alignment, weekly LinkedIn creation, contractor briefing/collaboration, campaign strategy, Facebook brand validation & content approval, trainee & whānau pānui, strategic copywriting, email flows, and packaging coordination. Out of Scope: You won’t be doing technical web coding, professional video editing, grant writing, or daily routine Facebook scheduling—we have dedicated leads, specialist contractors, and admin support for those! What You Bring 3–5 years of experience in marketing, copywriting, or brand strategy (experience in social enterprise or non‑profit sectors is ideal). Execution & Growth Mindset: A 'roll‑up‑your‑sleeves' attitude with a track record of creating finished assets, writing high‑converting copy, and driving real‑world campaign results. Contractor & Project Collaboration: Proven ability to brief, guide, and collaborate with creative contractors (CX/UX, videographers, designers) to ensure external work aligns with the master narrative. Strong LinkedIn & Copywriting Skills: Ability to draft engaging weekly LinkedIn posts that resonate with professional stakeholders, enterprise partners, and funders. Brand Governance & Editing Eye: Exceptional attention to detail to review, refine, and approve Facebook content created by our admin team. Adaptable Tone: Ability to shift seamlessly between professional B2B messaging, warm whānau pānui, and compelling impact case studies. Digital Savvy: Hands‑on experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp/Klaviyo), CRM systems, web CMS, and local search management. Why Taimahi Trust? Work‑Life Balance: 32 hours per week with genuine hybrid/flexible working options in Whangārei. Multi‑Faceted Impact: Shape the narrative for a dynamic organisation changing lives through social enterprise, training, and advocacy. Clear Boundaries: A structured environment where your operational focus is protected. #J-18808-Ljbffr
