Located on Percival Street in Rangiora, opposite Victoria Park, Percival Street Bakery has been a local favourite for decades. About the Role This is a part-time position (minimum 14 hours per week), offering flexibility to work alongside study or other commitments. The roster includes: Monday: Regular shift Saturday: Regular shift Additional weekday shifts as required to cover planned annual leave or sick days The bakery is closed on Sundays, Public Holidays, and over the Christmas/New Year period, providing a great work-life balance. As part of our small, supportive team, you'll enjoy a varied role that includes: Preparing quality espresso coffee (not essential skill) Serving customers and processing payments Assisting with bakery sales and food service Clearing tables and maintaining a clean environment Washing dishes and general cleaning duties Occasional delivery drivingOther duties as required A full position description will be provided at the interview stage. About You You’ll be someone who: Has a positive, can-do attitude Enjoys working in a busy team environment Provides friendly, genuine customer service Can multitask and work efficiently under pressure Has excellent communication and time management skills Is physically fit and able to lift 10–15 kg when required Barista or hospitality experience is an advantage, but a willingness to learn is just as important.
