If you're hardworking, safety-conscious, and ready to get stuck in, we have opportunities with a range of reputable civil and construction companies Key Responsibilities Carry out general labouring duties across civil and construction projects Assist tradespeople, supervisors and machine operators Prepare and maintain work sites Follow all health and safety procedures Work efficiently as part of a team Complete tasks as directed by site supervisors Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism Duties General civil and construction labouring Site preparation, set-up and pack-down Digging, trenching, backfilling and ground works Assisting with drainage, roading, concreting and infrastructure projects Loading and unloading materials and equipment Operating hand and power tools safely Assisting machine operators and qualified tradespeople General housekeeping and site clean‑up Manual handling and lifting Following all health and safety requirements Other duties as required Experience & Skills A strong work ethic and positive attitude Physically fit and capable of manual labour Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team A commitment to workplace health and safety Site Safe Passport is advantageous Full Class 1 Driver Licence preferred (Class 2, WTR and other endorsements are an advantage) Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
