About the Role Our Radiology department is seeking a fixed term, full time Sonographer with excellent scanning and time management skills to join our busy team. Located within the hospital, our referrals include acute examinations (inpatient/ED), obstetric, vascular and community referrals.You will be supported by a team of qualified Radiologists and Sonographers. We are looking for a Sonographer with excellent communication skills, a high standard of patient care, enthusiasm and the ability to work efficiently in our busy department. This is a fixed term position for 12 months, working 40 hours per week. We serve a population of approximately 308,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. About You NZ Registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist with a sonography qualification recognised by the Medical Radiation Technologists Board is essential. The successful applicant you will need: General DMU/Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent Ideally skilled in areas such as vascular, musculo-skeletal ultrasound Proactive, efficiency while working Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills If this position suits your skills and lifestyle, then we would be pleased to hear from you.
