Dental Hygienist

Kowhai Whangarei Limitedt/a Kowhai Dental is looking for a DentalHygienist to join their Whangarei-based practice. Key Responsibilities include: Removing deposits from teeth and providing fluoride therapy. Providing educational materials/programs to motivate parents, children and the community regarding good oral health practices. Taking dental impressions and radiographs. Administering local anaesthesia by infiltration and mandibular nerve block. Constructing mouth guards, whitening trays and other such required aids. Periodontal screening and treatment Successful applicants will be expected to work a minimum of30hours and a maximum of40hours per week at a rate of$50.00to$60.00per hour. Applicants for this position must have a minimum of3years experienceandarelevant qualifications. All applicants must have registration with the New Zealand Dental Council.
